A Content Partnership Proposal
The Story
Behind the
Needle.
An ongoing system for capturing the real human moments that make an icon feel alive — built for PB& and Space Needle.
Prepared by
Devon Potts, Ventrait
Tara, and to the whole team — thank you for reaching out after finding our work. That meant something to me. When the founder came into that meeting, I noticed — that's not a vendor search. That's someone who cares about getting this right.
The Space Needle is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world — and the most powerful thing we could do for it isn't to make it look bigger. It's to make it feel human. The people behind it, the stories inside it, the moments that happen there every single day.
That's exactly what this system is built for. What follows is how we'd do it.
— Devon Potts, Founder · Ventrait
It's a living story.
Space Needle is one of the most recognized landmarks in the world — and the brands that stay iconic don't just look the part. They show the real people, moments, and stories that make them worth caring about.
That's what Ventrait does. We don't manufacture content. We go somewhere, move through real spaces, and engage with the people who make a brand what it is — capturing real moments as they happen, not staging them. Then we build it into a system that feeds your campaigns, your social, and your story — session after session.
You found that system. You reached out. This is what it looks like in practice.
"In a world drowning in AI-generated content, the brands that win will be the ones that show real humans — and mean it."
Ventrait — The belief behind everything we build
~15 Short-Form Reels & Social Content
Every session we deliver ~15 edited short-form reels built for Instagram, TikTok, and wherever Space Needle lives. Volume is intentional — more attempts means faster learning, better data, and the content that does land, lands hard.
Photography & Carousel Tests
Every session produces a curated set of editorial stills — but we're not just building a photo library. We intentionally design carousel sequences to test ideas, themes, and angles. What resonates gets amplified. What doesn't teaches us something. Every session gets smarter.
Caption & Context Copy
Every piece of content comes with human-written captions, context, and posting notes — in Space Needle's voice, not a template.
Monthly Story Alignment
A standing alignment session with PB& before each shoot to plan the angle, review what's performing, and make sure the content system keeps compounding.
Owned Content Assets
Everything we produce belongs to Space Needle. Every reel, every still, every carousel — yours to use, repurpose, and build on across any campaign, channel, or platform, now and in the future.
One flat monthly rate. Sessions flex to match your campaign cadence — but billing stays predictable so you can plan around it. No project fees, no surprise invoices.
Great content systems don't start delivering on day one. They compound.
Session One — Establish
Finding the Voice
The first session is about learning. We meet the Space Needle team, understand the campaign rhythms, find the people and moments worth capturing. We deliver a full content package — and we start building the foundation.
Session Two — Deepen
Building the Narrative
Session two is where the story gets richer. We know the space, we know the people, we know what resonates. The content gets sharper, the alignment tighter, and the system starts to feel like it belongs to Space Needle.
Session Three — Compound
A Living Content Library
By session three you have an archive of real Space Needle stories, a content rhythm PB& can plan around, and a creative partner who understands the brand from the inside. After this, it just keeps growing.
Testing & developing this system
Ventrait isn't a production company that shoots on request. For the past year and a half, we've been deliberately testing and refining one methodology: go somewhere, have real conversations, and build a content system that compounds.
We're currently running this system for Goodwill — one of the most recognized nonprofits in the country. And for Kerf Design, the results speak for themselves.
That's what you saw on the site. That's what you reached out about. That's what we'll build for Space Needle.
Kerf Design — 3 Shoot Days
20k to 60k followers across platforms. 12 million people reached. 30% increase in site traffic. From just 3 shoot days. No ad spend. Just real conversation content that people actually wanted to watch and share.
Trusted by Goodwill
We're actively running our content system for Goodwill — capturing real stories across their locations and building content that challenges how people see the brand. Big names trust this process.
We Work with Agencies, Not Around Them
PB& stays in control of the narrative. We align with your campaigns, support your strategy, and deliver content that makes your team's job easier — not harder.

"This Is
Our Needle."
Over a million people visit the Space Needle every year. Most of them fly home. But there's another group — Seattleites who walk past it every day, who got engaged there, who took their parents on their first visit, who work inside it — for whom this place is genuinely, personally theirs.
That's the content nobody is making. Real locals, real relationships, real reasons to come back. Not a campaign angle — a content direction that directly fuels Season Pass adoption, drives repeat visits, and builds the kind of audience loyalty that compounds month after month.
One shoot day. Real conversations with real Seattleites. The rest — the angles, the edits, the content that actually performs — that's what we'd build together.
The Revenue Connection
Locals are the most underserved audience
Tourists already know the Space Needle exists. A Seattle resident who hasn't been since a school trip is a different story — they just need a reason to feel like it's theirs again. That's what this content creates.
The Long Game
Audience that stays is worth more than reach
Locals who follow because they see themselves in the content don't just buy tickets once. They share, they bring people, they become the organic marketing engine that no ad budget can replicate.
Note
This is an example of thinking — not a finished brief. In practice, we develop and test angles based on the campaigns PB& is actively running.
Can the content cadence flex around Space Needle's campaign schedule?
Yes — that's built into how the system works. We commit to 3 sessions within 9 months, billed monthly. If a campaign window calls for a shoot sooner or later in a given month, we work around it. The monthly retainer keeps us resourced and aligned regardless of timing.
What does the approval process look like?
We deliver the full content package to PB& the week after we shoot. You review, flag anything, and we turn revisions around fast. Nothing goes to Space Needle without your sign-off first.
What happens after the 3-session minimum?
It continues per session — no lock-in, no annual contracts. We earn the next session by delivering on the last one. That's the arrangement we want — it keeps us accountable.
What do you actually need from Space Needle?
Primarily two things: access for one shoot day per session, and help identifying 3–4 people ahead of time who fit that session's story angle — staff, regulars, team members, whoever makes sense. We handle everything else. The goal is to be the easiest line item on their marketing calendar.
Ready to build
the story together?
Three sessions. One shoot day each. A content system that keeps growing.
Let's schedule 20 minutes to align on session one.
